I. What?
This is a Dynamis Linkshell created by members of Ultima who are actively upgrading relic weapons. The goal is to farm Dynamis Currency and get AF2.
II. How do I join?
Attendance is highly selective. It is reserved mostly for Ultima members, although it is not entirely closed to outsiders. If you wish to attend after you have read this post and have a full understanding of the rules and purpose, feel free to send Heie a Private Message via this forum, or send me a tell in game. Each person will be handled on a case-by-case basis. It will depend mostly on your reputation and people you know who are active Ultima members, your skill at your job(s), and your job availability. You will require a sponsor from Ultima to attend.
We try to stay away from members who want specific pieces of AF, and only want to come to receive that particular AF. Because we run dynamis in such low numbers, we aim for more of a close-knit group that works well together, and simply enjoys coming to dynamis just for the sake of it, and seeing their friends with AF2. Most of the people coming are here every Sunday and every Wendesday that they are online, even when they don't need AF.
III. What are the rules?
We do Bastok, Jeuno, San d'Oria, Windurst, Beaucedine Glacier, and Xarcabard. Since the purpose is farming, we will likely not attempt to clear any of these areas unless it results in a time extension. Feel free to sign up for DynamisX if you need a particular clear.
V. If I can't sponsor, then what's in it for me?
Plenty. For starters, the Artifact lotting rules are more relaxed than with most other Dynamis linkshells. Second, because of the 24 person restriction you will have less competition for AF, as well as a completely lag-free environment.
Finally, effective September 1, 2006 DynamisX will start imposing a points system. Attendance will earn you points that you can apply to your future DynamisX runs. To make things fair, however, lotting of AF2 in will also "cost" you DynamisX points. I use quotes because the word "cost" usually implies you have to spend something that you have. The difference is you can lot and win even if you have zero points.
If you have questions feel free to send me a Private Message. Additionally, you can ask questions in this thread.

- All runs are sponsored. Currently, the only allowed sponsors are members of Ultima Linkshell. This will not change in the foreseeable future, although due to the nature of the word "foreseeable", it could change in the unforeseeable future.
- You may choose your lot from one of two categories (note that 100 currencies are not one of the two things you can choose to lot):
- Synthesis Materials - You may lot any and all synthesis materials that drop. There is no limit to the number you can win. **The first 5 Wootz Ore will be retained and sold to help pay for Xarcabard runs due to the much lower currency drop rate in Xarc. This will help keep Xarc runs desirable to sponsors and these AF2 pieces going out to people.**
- Artifact Armor - You may lot any Artifact for a job you can wear at the time you enter Dynamis. It need not be declared with a search comment in any way, shape, or form. If you see something you can wear, you are free to lot. The first time you win something, you must not lot anything else for the remainder of the run, except as described below:
- In the event nobody with the corresponding job at 75 wants to "waste" their lot on a particular AF2, it will go down in tiers. First Level 70s in the job will have the chance to lot, then level 60s, and finally level 50s.
- If it still has not been chosen by someone, it will proceed to a free lot scenario where anyone who wants the AF can lot without forfeiting their ability to lot something else later. Additionally, people who have already won something may be able to lot at this time, pending the approval of the Linkshell.
- The sponsor may not lot AF2 or Synthesis Materials, except in a free lot situation regarding AF2.
- Runs are limited to 24 members. This is to ensure an enjoyable, lag-free environment with low competition for AF2.
