Please design UI support for Living Dead.
Walking Dead ends when the player has received incoming healing that is equal to their maximum HP. If there is no incoming damage while Walking Dead is active, this is equivalent to just filling the player's health bar. However, in most cases, this is not the case, and there is no way to track how much incoming healing is required to cleanse the effect.
My recommendation is that, if you insist on keeping this atrociously designed ability as it is, you should develop a UI overlay that appears over the DRK's HP bar, both on party bars and for the player, that turns it black when Walking Dead is active. As heals are received, the size of the black bar shrinks, until the effect is cleansed. There should also be a countdown timer on the HP bar that indicates to the healer how much time is left. This will give healers some basic indicators that they require to deal with Living Dead.
Alternatively, instead of rewriting grossly inaccurate tooltips and developing UI elements for the single worst designed ability in the history of FFXIV, you could simply scrap its present implementation and actually listen to your playerbase on how to fix it.
Thanks.
