Hello! I’m an Information Systems student at the University of Geneva working on my bachelor's thesis. My bachelor project is a prototype UI for MMORPGs that would change automatically based on what the player is doing. For example, hide UI elements that you can’t interact with when mounted or bring the Party list closer to the middle of the screen as a healer spec. The main idea is to automatically filter UI elements to bring attention to the most important information the player needs while playing.
In order to see what this prototype needs to do exactly, I made a survey for FFXIV players. This survey asks about your experience in FFXIV and how you change your UI compared to the default one with the in-game tools. It would be very helpful if you took a few minutes of your time to fill it in.
The last question asking for a screenshot of your UI is completely optional. I’m interested in seeing what UI elements you change and in which way. Names should be hidden on the screenshot to keep the data anonymous.
