Hello. This is my first post on the forums despite being a 1.0 Legacy player. There is something I've been hoping to see in game for a long time so I figure this is the best way for developers to potentially see the suggestion.
Currently, I use hotbars as borders to separate various UI elements for a cleaner, symmetrical look. However, these hotbars take up a lot of space on the screen. I would love to see an option to toggle UI Element borders on / off. I was thinking of a system similar to portraits / adventurer plates where various styles of UI Element borders can be obtained through gameplay, achievements, and cash shop.
On a side, I've recently heard a lot of negativity about the state of the game. I'm sure you already know there are plenty of silent but happy players who don't like to post on forums or use social media. I love the game as is and look forward to whatever you choose to create. As far as the recent BLM controversy goes, I'm happy to see the timer removed. I, like many others, play FFXIV to relax after work. Removing the timer will definitely make the job more relaxing especially when trying to attract new players.
Have a nice day!
