is that the correct noun? im not sure.

even though it will probably end up like that this thread is not here to hate on transgender people nor to accuse people of being transphobe even though they probably arent.

i create this thread because this topic is very present right now and it might help me understand, because i dont get it, not at all.

the first thing is about how people feel. you hear it all the time people feel like a man or a woman. but i dont get it. feelings are genderless. how do they make you feel like a certain gender?
do i feel like a man when i feel powerful? strong? violent?
i feel as i feel and there is no gender to it. how am i supposed to feel to know what gender i am? no matter how i look at it, it doesnt make sense to me how i go from feeling certain things to 'this makes me a certain gender'.

and the second thing is about identity. we are born with a certain body. its part of who we are. sure some may not be happy with their gender or with how fast they can lose weight. but its a pretty big part of us. how can transgender people just say their body isnt a part of them, of their identity? every small bit of us, regardless if body or personality, is a part of us.
we are who we are, thats also something transgender people say, but when they change their body and manipulate their voice... then its not really them anymore? in the end it makes them different than they were.

from my standpoint everyone is how he or she is. if a man likes to wear womens clothes then thats fine, if he cries a lot thats fine, if he wanna wear make up thats also fine, but that doesnt make him a woman.
and a woman who likes to fight or play in the dirt, a tomboy so to say, isnt automatically a man.

but by accepting that any personality, charactertrait and preference can be present in both gender makes that whole transgender topic weird and unbelievable.
