Reminder of mechanics and Tips for Blue Mage Extreme Primal achievements
Did some of the primals for the BLU achievements today and noted down some things I learned. You need 8 Blue mages, Silence Echo turned on, and make sure Unsynced/Undersized Party is turned off for achievement. Let me know anything I got wrong, or easier ways to do it, and I'll edit.
Also noted down mechanics as a reminder as its been so long since we did these at synced level, and for new players who haven't done it synced before.
Garuda EX - Pretty easy to kill her. Difficult part is separating the adds and took a few tries. Found the best way was to have both tanks in centre, one facing west, the other east. As soon as adds drop, hit them with The Look and primal abilities before dragging them to opposite sides of arena.
Start. MT pull, face her away and dodge through her to avoid Slipstream attack.
She disappears, dodge away and hide behind pillars to dodge her Mistral Shriek.
Kill plumes if they appear, focusing Satin Plume first.
Damage her more and get ready for adds. (75%?)
MT wait for Slipstream before moving to mid so you don't cleave party
MT drag boss and 1 add north, OT take one add south
Kill south add, then kill other add
Garuda teleports to mid for phase change attack
Just DPS her down, You should be able to kill her before next phase
Ramuh EX - Pretty simple if you have BLU abilities ready and organise people for mechanics. We had Level 5 Death ability to kill adds quickly, and used buffed Final Sting at 20-15%HP to finish her off easily. Make sure tank/s know to keep lightning resists buff up by taking 3 orbs. Put down A marker for charmed players to stack on so rest of party can free them with a lightning circle. We marked party with numbers and had lowest number of tethered pairs to collect 3 orbs to break tether.
Start. MT run around and quickly pick up 3 orbs for lightning resist buff. When buff timing out, get OT to take boss with buff already up, or MT take one more orb to keep going. You take more damage though with extra orb.
If you get marked for charm, stand on marker and get freed by party member.
Adds spawn - use Level 5 Death on them for easy kill
Damage Ramuh
2 players will be tethered together. Lowest numbered person run around and pick up 3 orbs to break tether.
At 20-15%HP left we used buffed Final Sting. To get best damage use: Libra: Physical + Whistle + Off-guard + Moon Flute + Final Sting.
Shiva EX - Assign pairs to cardinal positions for safe spots, and decide clockwise/counter clockwise for inter-cardinal position. Can also decide between pairs who is going to be on edge of arena and who is going to be inner. Bring Level 4 Death to easily kill adds. Remind people when floor freezes over from Permafrost attack, don't move, or you will slide, possibly into wall.
MT pulls, tank in center of room.
Shiva will pull out weapon, either sword or cane.
If Sword (she'll rise straight up) MT needs to run through her to stand in party and split incoming damage between party. Or Diamondback. After, watch out for sword’s second attack Glacier Bash. MT run through her to dodge it just like Garuda's Slipstream.
If Cane (she'll spin as she rises), spread out for ice puddles.
Ice circles cover arena except one small spot. Can just stay in center and eat one stack.
At 79% health, Shiva goes to middle, summons 4 adds. Use Level 4 Death to kill them.
MT be ready to run through her to party when sword comes out for cleave attack, or DB again. After, remember to dodge Glacier Bash.
Diamond Dust! Last Phase now. Walls will now freeze people to snowball jails.
Shiva always pulls out cane at the start of this phase, get ready to move to your assigned safe area. Wait in middle until second set of ice circles spawn, then move. Pairs spread out so you don't overlap puddles.
Dodge clock pattern of ice circles, or stay in middle and eat one.
Right after that finishes, Shiva pulls out bow. Stack behind boss to dodge Glass Dance 270 degree attack.
MT pull boss back to edge, party move to side of boss, ready for Avalanche. Marked person move to just behind boss, get knocked back.
Shiva will pull out another weapon, either sword or staff.
If Cane (she'll spin as she rises), move to your safe spot
If Sword (she'll rise straight up), MT move to party to share damage or use Diamondback. Right after party stack, all move to closest safe aisle spot to dodge the floor aoe’s. If it was sword, MT watch out for Glacier Bash.
Mechanics repeat from "Ice Circles covering arena" until death. Hopefully hers.
Thordan Ex (Minstral's Ballad) - Organise which tank is taking which add. Make sure people know where to stand for arena charges (Spot where spokes on floor meet line around edge of arena).
MT pulls, tank in center.
Dodge AOES
Turn away for Dragon Gaze
Spread lightning circles
Stack marker
Boss disappears - OT pop Mighty Guard here ready for adds
Spread out and break chain
Have at least 1 person stand in each tower. When that fails, use Exuviation to get rid of Paralysis
Damage add, and move to safe spots for arena charges
OT ready to pick up an add with Frog Legs. Tanks move to opposite side of arena with adds.
Tanks use Diamondback for the adds Holy Bladedance attack, especially add with sword buff
Take Blue marks away, and heal through raid damage until adds are dead. Focus down sword buffed add first.
Stack center then spread out around edge of arena. Tether people expect charge and others expect ice puddle to drop on them
Stack center and position for knockback into non ice space
Kill meteors and dodge aoes
Boss appears North
One player marked with green/blue mark. It's possible for that player to Diamondback before they are stunned, and DB will last for charge attack. Otherwise, have player stand on boss's ass at edge of arena and party stand between them and the Add in centre with OT closest to Add.

Party disbanded here so I don't know how the rest works with BLU, but basic mechanics below
Dragon Eye will move, take boss over to it so you only have to turn away from one direction for Dragon Gaze.
Towers will pop up, one person in each while dodging the rippling out AOE.

Dragon Eye moves, ignore it and be ready to spread lightning
Players marked with tether/blue mark/and stack. Blue mark away, tethers take away to edges, party stack.

Dragon Eye moves, follow over to it and be ready to break chains and dodge aoes
Turn away from Dragon Gaze
Hopefully dead by now? Otherwise more mechanics with aoes to dodge, Gazes to look away from. An add appears at one point.
Nidhogg Ex (Minstral's Ballad) - Organise which tank is taking which add (west or east). Assign corners to pairs. Remind players that when Fangs are up, blue tethers avoid taking balls or stacking in stack marker. Red players intercept balls, and stack in marker. All players DPS down the Blue Fang on East side.
MT pull, make sure to get aggro.
At 81% he'll disppear. Stack in middle to bait puddles and get ready for charges. First charge he'll appears on N or E side, Second charge from W or S side - keep camera facing corner between sides to easily spot him.
He'll reappear and at 79% adds will appear. Tanks pick up west and east add. North add roams.
Focus down west add first, then east, then last add.
Helpful for tanks to Diamondback when adds are about to hit for 3rd stack attack. West add tank may need to Frog Legs the East add off other tank after west add is dead.
Boss reappears, spread puddles out to edges, dodge AOE lines.
Player with tether here use Diamondback
Ala Morn tank buster - tank Diamondback
Fangs appear. Hopefully one tank has a red tether and can take the boss. If both tanks have blue try and have MT Diamondback as much as possible so their damage doesn't heal Blue Fang.

DPS down blue Fang, red tethered players take damage to kill red Fang
New tethers come out halfway. Again red tether tank take boss.
Once Fangs dead spread puddles out and 1 person in each tower.
Player with tether at this point use Diamondback
Dodge lines and Aoe bomb
Boss targetable > cleave > Ala Morn tank buster (tank DB) > cleave
Boss disappears, get ready for charges again
Reappears, party stack for Akh Morn
Hot Wing - stay on edge of hitbox to bait puddles
puddles appear - move to center under boss
bombs explode - move to assigned corners, while in corners spread out for puddles
Come back and stack on ass for Akh Morn (OT may need to Frog Legs here)
cleave on MT and raid dam x2, then
First corner bomb appears, go opposite.
Bait puddles in very corner, dodge out
Hot Tail - stand on boss's flank to avoid AOE line
Come back and stack on ass for Akh Morn (OT may need to Frog Legs here)
cleave on MT and raid dam x2, then repeat from Hot Wing
