I noticed some players had trouble to position themselves on Shadow Servant, especially on vg1 because they couldn't point right/left quickly, so I did a drawing to help my friends and idk if can help anyone else.
• if shadow is behind you: go to boss side, the same as he gonna cleave (ex: Left Giga = go to his left)
• if shadow is front of you: go to boss side, the one his arm is down
• if shadow at your right or left: look which arm he raised. If your shadow is in the same side of the sword, go in front of him. If your shadow doesn't match the sword's side, go behind him.

This works really well on first Shadow Servant and the first set of players on vg1. If the tank rotates the boss on the second set of players on vg1, this won't work. For that set I suggest to first look at your shadow, see what is right or left, compare to the boss while solving the gate and go to your side.
