We timed the entire Zodiac questline, from start to finish, with no preexisting materials.

Disclaimer: This was done with two players at level 60 (we did this as we were leveling jobs so we had something else to do daily when we were done with roulettes, since neither of our raid groups are raiding more than 1-2 days a week currently. This would go a semblance of time quicker at level 80.)
Both light steps had bonus taken advantage of, cutting a significant amount of time off of them.
This was done somewhat casually, especially the books since waiting for FATEs gated us a lot of the time.
Books is the only nerfed step of this questline that feels like an absolute slog still; taking fifteen hours on its own compared to most of the other steps which took around 1-3 hours.
The addition of flying to ARR zones will likely make the book step a lot faster, since almost all of it is composed of moving around the zones.
