I'm not surprised, and I'm a fool for hoping. I just don't understand how it even passed testing before the expansion release if it's an issue for gamepad specifically. Yes, there are people who have used "loophole" to bypass the issue (to a degree), but that shouldn't be necessary. If FFXIV is for keyboard and gamepad users, and the gameplay of a class is not good on one of those types of gaming methods, then they should treat it like a bug and fix it.
