light dawntrail spoilers about the feat of repast

Going through the feat of repast was an experience I didn't think would mean so much to me as it did. As for me culture is something of all and the means of sharing and connecting with others, thus I have no patriotic bone in me but a single one: food. Food is what I admire and love most about culture, and being Mexican myself this part of dawntrail made me honestly cry with how beautifully they're representing my culture. My food. making into a unifying peace bond between vastly different people. And the very same dish my late father made me love: cochinita pibil.

There's something inherently joyous about the game recognizing your jobs, being acknowledged obviously feels very satisfying, but when I was presented with the challenge to prepare one of my own favorite childhood dishes, I spent the next 30 minutes wishing I could laugh and tell everyone to clear the kitchen and let me work my culinarian magic while they try to figure out what the heck xibraq pibil is .

Then magic happened. Krile looked me dead in the eye and said I'd be cooking. The game acknowledged I'm a seasoned culinarian, a little nudge for everyone who appreciates the acknowledgement of our jobs. But to me, the game inadvertently gave me, an orphaned, food obsessed Mexican cook who views food as the means of turning culture and prosperity into life, sustenance and peace, the chance to be acknowledged by means of preparing the very dish that brought Tural people's together. The very dish that the father of our lovely house cat promise gave to their children to teach them of peace and understanding. the very dish my father gave to me in the same way.

So now I'm very hungry for cochinita pibil tacos and also want to cry so I needed to share it.

Thanks for this Square Enix.
