The Final Fantasy XIV Soundtrack Guide updated to v1.2: added more data and explaining game's structure

Welcome back to my ongoing project about FFXIV OST guide. I usually update the document per week. In this version, I have made more data including track origin and motif tracker. If you want to see how many times the "Prelude" motif being played, I've also done the data there. The formatting may be janky at first, but I will fix them in later date.

Also, I've read the topic about the repeated use of old tracks in FFXIV especially on DT 7.0 (forgot the link). Yes, I'm aware of the Machinations meme. I've covered that in the game's structure now. This is more into how they (story team and sound/music team) define the storyboard. Agree or disagree, there are methods they can choose. In the sound/music side, make the new track or reuse the old track. As long as they are functional, it will be fine, but using wrong track can make it fatal especially on cutscenes. That also includes the sound jingles too.

Back to the data, here are the examples below for the data I've mentioned

Current state of FFXIV OST tracks per album. Details in the document above

Prelude counter. Details in the document above

Since I'm waiting for DT OST release, which currently is not being announced when, I leave the composer analysis in later section as like in v1.1 (EW 6.55). There are no changes for that section, but at least you will get the picture.

I think that's it. You can ask here about data, composer style, or something related to the document. But as I said, I may respond a bit late this time. Thank you

Also, check out my other OST reviews here
