Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. The subreddit participates under the Chocobros team which is made up of various Final Fantasy subreddits.
With game day over with, we've raised over $4,000 USD for the charity! Thank you to everyone that participated and we look forward to doing this again next year. The full Extra Life event has currently raised $11.5 million at this time - As always, donations are open until the end of the year for this fundraiser.
In other news, we've wrapped up the moderator applications for /r/ffxiv. Our focus this time was for additional overnight coverage for US time zones. Please give a warm welcome to our new moderators /u/gistofeverything and /u/Crispy95!
