I went into Tam Tara yesterday on DR and got partied with a totally new sprout gladiator and a totally new sprout conjurer. The gladiator then ran ahead without turning on tank stance. Me and the other DPS kept poking and telling him to turn on his tank stance. Auto translated too but we got ignored totally. Sprout healer just kept quiet, understandable since he’s new. Gladiator would just run ahead and fight like a normal DPS.
After halfway through the dungeon, me and the other DPS just gave up trying to tell him. So I started running ahead in front of the gladiator and take up tanking. Bloodbath helps. The other DPS was a BLM.
I told my FC about this and we started laughing at how the supposed “floor tank” became a “real” tank. I’m not even mad, but kudos to the sprout healer who had to work five times as hard, probably. I didn’t die even once. So sprout healer, if you’re reading this, you deserve so much more than the 1 comm I can give you.
