Okay, this is more for the ronso, and Bunnies. Since most headgear doesn't work maybe a good start would instead, creating hairstyles for these races that have built in "hat" or helmet on them.
For example, let's say you buy the witch outfit from the mog station, as a vierra or ronso you cant see the helmet, so what if instead it gives those two races a Hairstyle, with that built on helmet.
I think if we go to just having Hairstyles, where you can add a third color option just for the helmet would make a lot of people happy.
