With the changes to WHM over the course of the game, the job has moved away from their nature-themed beginnings, from CNJ. While it is fitting for a WHM to be more thematically divine, I truly miss the aesthetic and feeling of wielding nature.
Nature is now one of the least featured themes across the board. We have SO many interesting themes in this game -song and dance, curses and war tactics, fortune telling, former pirates, far eastern blades and magic, vampiric swordplay, forbidden ancient magic - you name it, we almost assuredly have it featured with very few themes left out. When it comes to nature, CNJ has that territory - or rather had.
As soon as CNJ turns into WHM they start to shift out of the nature theme and by 72 we completely lose the wind and earth from our arsenal (despite casting animations suggesting elements such as Cure being wind). All that is really left is Water via Fluid Aura and perhaps from Asylum (although I don't think that looks like water as much as it does astral/holy/divine).
So, I plead for a new job in 6.0 to be heavily themed in nature. From Earthquakes, Tornadoes, and Floods, to the growth flora and the spreading of pollen or spores. Whether the job be Geomancer, Green Mage, or a new original job to XIV, Nature should be thoroughly represented.
