Suggestion for side content: Archeology

First time making a suggestion to my immediate memory, but I figured it'd be worth putting it out there since there is some potential for its utilization in terms of worldbuilding.

Basically, I think it'd be interesting if our WoLs were able to become part time archeologists and dig up relic fragments in certain zones, put them together when a certain number are dug up, and you get a little logbook entry describing the item in question along with some extra lore tidbits regarding the civilization related to said item.

For example, you go to a place like Central Shroud, dig up, say, 5 relic fragments, and then you get a logbook entry containing information about the relic (for this example lets say its a ceremonial flute), along with some lore about the Shroud and Elementals. Not only would this incentivise people going back to older areas, but it would help flush out two aspects of the world of Hydalen: The lore itself of the civilizations throughout Hydalen's history, and allow the players who adore the lore as much as the gameplay to learn more!

As for how the 'role' itself would play out, I'm not too certain on the details of that. It could be a pseudo-job like custom deliveries, or a whole class like Culinarian. I'm thinking it might be easier for it to be tied to miner in some fashion since you'd need to dig for the relics anyway. Ofc that can also be expanded into the other gathering classes as well if that feels equally fitting.

So what else would be the reward for all this besides lore tidbits, for anyone interested in it? Besides the usual title rewards, maybe it could be used as an avenue for more universal glamour gear, being an equally accessible alternative to pvp/wolves den for those who prefer not to do that kind of content. Special minions too, and maybe even orchestrion rolls relating to older music tracks from related expansions that never got one before. You could even obtain special furniture or crafting recipes, and ofc a special mount for those very dedicated to the art of digging up fossils for educational purposes!

The most convenient caveat to this is that you wouldn't need to make designated spots for these special digs either, since the world is already chock full of overworld locations you could simply add the nodes around! It would both make sense and be less of a hassle for the devs that way, I think.

There is definitely some refinement to the suggestion that could be made, but I believe that adding something like Archeology would be beneficial to the game. It gives those of us who love the lore new tidbits of info, it gives the collectors in the community some interesting rewards to work towards, and it gives those who roleplay a new avenue to build off of, both the canon and non-canon rpers!
