A lot of roleplayers like to save copies of their RP sessions, and currently the only way to effectively do that is to scroll through the chat carefully copy-pasting and hoping you don't accidentally miss anything. It can be difficult since the chat box likes to often drop down to the newest line when anything new is said.
I would love to see a Save Chat Log button as part of the chat box, which, when clicked, brings up a prompt asking you which channels to include in the log, perhaps with a scrollable preview. Once the confirm button is pressed, it could save a human-readable simple chat log into a /chatlogs folder, much like /screenshots currently get saved. Players could set a default settings if they never want to change which channels they're saving.
There could be a toggleable (default off) option to have the game prompt you with 'Save chat log?' every time you hit log out or exit game.
If possible, a crash detector could save a copy of the chat log from the crashed session using the last used or default set save settings.
