Over the years FF14 has grown and evolved into something of a marvel with its strengths, yet one of its most frustrating problems has been the growing disconnect between developers and players over jobs with this expansion being the worst yet.
With shadowbringers, this has particularly come to the fore with many on the official forums, reddit, twitter etc all expressing a lot of discontent over various job elements and design. Many long threads have been put up suggesting changes or improvements.
Yet browsing these websites many get the feeling their feedback is ignored for a community rep is a rare sight and letters from producers involving job q&a barely appear.
My idea is this: Make an in game survey or questionnaire every few patches so the devs can get better feedback for what players of all levels want. Tie a little reward to it perhaps so players will do it by choice.
This way the devs can focus closer to what players are wanting and hopefully players can start picking and playing what jobs they find fun rather than which has suffered least
