Dear Final Fantasy,

I don't even know how to start this text and I don't have much contact with forums but it came to a point that is extremely necessary to bring this up.

I'm part of a small community in the game, a South American player, Brazil to be more specific, and things aren't really doing good here, not only in Brazil but to lots of south american countries.

I'll talk about my reality, and I encourage you to talk about yours in this thread.

The dollar just hit 5 BRL (Brazilian real, our currency). Our minimum wage is about 1/5 of USA minimum wage. It's getting extremely hard to keep playing just because money. And yes, I know that through Steam our subscription is cheaper but what about your players that have been playing this since before mid HWS, before the game was available on Steam?

We put a lot of time and a lot of effort in this game. Not because we need, not because we're obligated, but because we like! We enjoy playing it! And I do appreciate all the effort you guys put in this game because, in my humble opinion, it truly is the best MMO at the moment and I want it to stay like it for a long time as well as keep playing this game.

Why do we, non-steam players, have to keep paying so much for the subscription?
We always pay more for the expansions, we've been playing this game for much longer and we still do. But now it came to a point which literally 1/8 of your salary, if you're paid the minimum wage, is destinated to FF and I'm not even counting VPN!
I have friends who are literally starting a new character, buying the game AGAIN through Steam because, believe it or not, it's cheaper... All that time devoted for mounts, minions, housing, achievments...

Please, Square, can you try to do something about it?

Thank you.
