I can log into flash chat & see what peopel are typing but not type anything back =(

I don't want to try installing flash player in case it gets me in trouble, dunno if it will or not.

Don't know where you work.. but we allow flash here because it's need by web applications and some local apps....

I work at an insurance company. I am just ancy about selecting any option that requires hitting an 'install' button.

Best to talk with the IT people if you have any around. Some places don't care overmuch (particularly where it's already an approved tool), but some are extremely picky about versions and such. It shouldn't hurt just to ask one offhand whether you could update the flash player.

Yeah but the first question would be, "Why do you need to install a flash program on your computer?" And, "To use a flaschat program for my FFXI linkshell" isn't a good answer.

Hmm, might have to browse around until you find a semi-business-related site that relies heavily on Flash. ^_^;; Maybe some tradeshow, or statistical data gathering site or something.

I don't do anything for work where I could even begin to have any use for looking for an outside website.
