I love FFXIV but have you ever thought to yourself that every game falls short of being your perfect game for some reason or another? There's a bunch of stuff I've always wished this game had or in some departments did differently, but don't expect to ever see happen. Still I thought it would be fun to share one of my own things I wish were around, and see what kind of things other people would add or do differently too.
For me, one thing I wish were around is solo endgame content. I love challenging content but I don't love group content, atleast not with a party of 8 which I consider to be a ton of people. I'm the kind of person who will fight a hard boss all day long until I get it right, but not so much when I'm counting on other people, being scrutinized by other people, or just having to meet up with other people to do it. It's an MMO so I don't really expect this to ever be added, but I can dream, and being able to work for some of the really hard stuff in the game on my own time at my own pace would open a whole new part of the game up to me. The Bozjan duels were really cool, but you can only get in them once in a blue moon which really defeats the purpose. I personally loved the Blue Mage carnival because it was a step in this direction- solo trials that I had a blast with. I wish that they had this sort of content for non-limited jobs or on savage/ultimate level content.
I know that my thing isn't for everybody, but it's what I would enjoy though. What kind of stuff does everybody else think of when they think of their perfect additions, or major things that would make XIV more ideal for them?
