"The enemies are paired: Airi and Cleaner, Iruci and Weapon, Ahriman and Dragon.
  • Defeating one of the pair strengthens the other. So kill the Dragon before the Ahriman.
  • The strengthened monsters have much higher evasion, accuracy, attack and defense. They also gain HP, MP, and TP regen."
 
This makes a lot of sense.
On the other hand, is the Ahriman gonna be any better than the dragon when it's strengthened? As it is now, as long as we're attentive on stuns, it's not that bad to keep shadows up, and damage comes easily on the dragon via BLMs and SCs and stuff. Ahriman will be putting up magic shield and then casting unstunnable ga3 magic on us unless I miss my guess.
But it would be interesting to try it anyways and see^^
 
We can give it a shot next run, if you want.

We had one death, but I honestly think we can have zero on that run.
