When I woke up this morning and started Steam, I was shown an error message claiming my 30 day subscription payment could not be completed using my saved payment method. I have used this payment method for every prior payment, and a lack of funds is not the issue here.
I logged into the Mog Station to see if I could get anymore information, and when clicking the "Steam Payment" option under the "Subscription Renewal" category, I was given the following error message:
Code:
The Square Enix Account Management System is currently processing upcoming service fees for billing.
During this period, you will not be able to do any of the following:
- Add/Change Subscriptions
- Retainer Service
- Companion App
- Update Payment Method
- Add PlayStation®4 License
- Add Windows® License
- Add Mac License
- Add Game Time Card
- Cancel Subscription
- Cancel Service Account
- Cancel Square Enix Account
These actions will become possible once again after the billing processes have completed.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Can anyone help me? I am not opposed to changing my payment method if necessary.
