Steam Login Failure: This is an Invalid Operation.

After the new patch, I am currently unable to log in. I use steam to play the game and it throws out this error on the login screen. I've seen another recent report of this on the steam forums just after the patch.

I have no VPNs or internet proxies enabled on my computer.
