yeah, I quit, because:
1) I left college and went home, where I had no internet.
2) I was losing things to do, and generally getting bored.
I announced this the day before I left college so I didn't have long to tell everyone in the LS. Sorry about the abrupt departure ;_;
However~
1) I got internet (albeit dial-up...) and now I'm itching for things to do.
2) I have a full time job, and though it means I can't play as much, I yearn for something to do in my spare time.
The day I came back we destroyed Tiamat; next two days we have outclaimed our JP LS rivals to grab Behemoth- I'm convinced we will be Behemoth Dethroners before long at all. Ranger is picking up; I want to get it 70+ and get some flashy Osode or somethin, all the while shooting my gil at helpless rabbits. I noticed how useful an extra BLM can be at the Tiamat fight, and I miss fighting Kirin and such.
Therefore; to the severe dismay of some people (sorry Xerl
) I have decided to keep on truckin' in FFXI. Much thanks to Fulio; before I 'quit' I never really talked to him. When I announced my departure, he invited me to his party and sat me down next to him at the Qufim zone and used his limited english to convince me not to delete Jotaru; such was a good decision and I'm glad I did that. Since then Fulio has been very supportive and very representative of the comraderie of Ultima as a whole.
That, and I want to keep kicking ass. Its awesome being the #1 LS ^_^ The end.
