Stats have little affect on the game and the playstyle of the job..
1- I would like to share my brainstorm for Stat rework.

Tenacity: Increase Max HP and Phy + MGC Defense

Determination: Increase Damage and Restoring HP for each hit based on HP (self and party)

Direct Hit: Increase damage output ignoring % of Phy + MGC Defense

Haste: Increase damage output for OGCD spells/skills

Crit: increase damage by 150% (Crit can't be melded it is flat 25% for all jobs)

Piety: Increase buffs duration and its effectiveness (even heals) (for example you can increase damage buff to 1% and 1 more seconds each 100 piety)

Luck: increasing crit damage more than 150% up to 220%

Skill speed and Spell speed I think should be removed from the game

let some jobs play 2.5 and others 2.0 by design it is better for the game.. if job feels bad at 2.5? just play job with 2.0 instead of increasing 0.2 second at max

2- let abilities scale with these buffs

for example:

Tank defensive abilities scale with Tenacity
Tank offensive abilities scale with Determination

but burst is like 50% for each

DPS:
Ninja / Viper / Machinist / Summoner:
scale with Direct Hit and Haste

Samurai / Dragoon / Black mage / Picto:
scale with Direct Hit and Luck

Reaper / Monk:
scale with Determination and Luck

Bard and Dancer:
scale with Haste and Piety


Healers:
scale mix between: Piety, Haste , Determination.


these are just a brainstorm that I think could give some variety for the gameplay
