My static is planning on starting TEA in a few weeks, probably by 5.5 and plan on beating TEA before Endwalker comes out.
What should my expectations be? How should I prepare before hand and in between sessions? And how realistic is our goal of beating it before Endwalker? To I guess, help with my last question, I’ll list off my raiding background in ff14.
I began savage raiding back in mid-october, early november 2020. Got through E5-E7 in a month in about 4 hours a week (some members in that static cleared Eden’s Verse already).
I joined a new static for Eden’s Promise. It was midcore (3 days, 2-3 hours a day) We began around December 18th, knocked off E9s on the 22nd then took a week off for Holidays. Came back progged and beat E10 on our first day back on the 29th. Cleared E11s on January 7th. Then took another 2 or so weeks off as one of our tanks left during E12 prog and finally clearing E12s on the 19th of February.
Tl;dr- Began savage raiding in November. Cleared Eden’s Promise in about a month and a half (not including breaks)
