I said that "MMOs never got me crying", but after Ysayle's death, things changed...
...And then, I got to fight Nidhogg, with this incredible song. And I was fighting it with tears on my eyes. I never felt like a fight mattered so much for me. I sat on the bridge for 30 seconds (because I am a healer main, so the queue was fast), but I waited the 40 seconds until I got to accept the instance. Other MMOs are like "Oh, lets just do this raid so we can level up and do the other content and get gear". Not this time. It was so emotional and the fight itself is amazing, with its glamour and effects. (I even got to play with a Buff Snowman)
And I thought that was the end of it. But then we get to save Estinien from Nidhogg's eyes, and then, both of them appear to help you out. I lost it. A 28 year old grown ass man crying like a baby.
Heavensward gets my 10/10.
