So, after wrapping the Dawnservant election and moving on to Magitexas, I found myself thinking about how Koana wanted to bring Sharlayan technology to Tural. They have a single railroad and very rudimentary technology, and they seem to have a desire to expand.
And the first thing that came to my mind was "Hey, who are the preeminent builders of railroads and implementers of technology, who were literally just saying last expansion that they want to engage in trade with other nations and rebuild but feel like they have nothing to offer?"
Garlemald.
I was really expecting Alphinaud and Alisae to be like "hey, we actually know a lot of people in Garlemald who would jump at the opportunity to come out here and help you implement some more technology into your civilization in exchange for some money and materials to help them rebuild their capital."
I hope that the 7.1+ content goes down this road. It's such an obvious trade alliance opportunity for the two nations to work together.
