Whether it's Vanguard, Origenics, or Alexandria, I love that so many Alexandrian bosses have a party-wide attack called 'Electrowave'.
Final Fantasy 14 sometimes has enemies and bosses that feel a little random, even when they share an aesthetic and belong to the same faction.
But whenever I saw that attack name 'Electrowave' show up, it was like: "Oh yeah, these aren't just random enemies. They all do the 'Electrowave' attack because I'm fighting the formal military of this faction."
It's a small detail, but to me at least, it really adds a lot to the feeling of tying all these disparate enemy designs and encounter mechanics to a specific faction.
Also, shoutout to Zander the Snakeskinner in Vanguard. When he ressed, that was another awesome moment because up until that point, it was uncertain if that was just something special Zoraal Ja could do. Seeing Zander res was the 2nd dot we needed to connect into a line, and it was a thrilling realisation that this feature was going to be part of the identity that distinguishes this new enemy faction. (Part of me is sad that it actually didn't end up being an important feature with the rest of combat against them, since we mainly just fight their machines
