Since when was the comedic side story supposed to make me cry, huh? I decided "fuck it, it's April Fools, I'll finish the Heavensward Hilidbrand questline for a fun laugh" instead I have tears in my eyes b/c Hildibrand basically lost his son and yes I know he's a minion now, but until that minion gets a sidequest to become Vivi properly again, I will forever cry about this.
Also can't help but point out it's always nice to see that Hilidbrand has legitimately changed someone's life for the better in the case of Cyr. Seeing him in that gentlemanly blue inspector's outfit gave me this nice sense of pride in him.
