Making all them a joke certainly was a choice...

TLDR:
+Fun world building that I would like to be called back to in the future.
+Fleshed out nice characters with actual personalities that you support.
+Storylines that double as teaching people that yes, some game mechanics are important.
+/- the comedy
-the Villains.
-Oh god the Villains.
-Why are the Villains from a kids TV show.

HEALER:
Quite liked that the storyline basically was "Esuna is important, use it". That the antagonists of this questline are a Puppetmaster and a Chemist was also fun as they are 2 of the more speculated jobs that haven't been added yet.

TANK:
Really really liked the worldbuilding and lore of the Sleeping Eye and Waking Eye and the culture of their tribe. The Antagonist here was probably the "best" as she was mostly acting out a personal vendetta and picked her targets in a good motivated fashion.

Physical Ranged:
One of the few lines that at the end didn't have the characters we support considering new ways to use their Vessel, might be something for the follow up quests in later patches.

MAGIC:
Loved the dynamic with us being the magic expert supporting someone who really doesn't know anything 'bout the topic, and they still had her be very clever and quick with following along what was going on.

MELEE:
A little silly that the NPC basically did the Fairly odd parents meme "I can see.... I can fight!" and suddenly became mega awesome at bows. But her struggle with her feeling bad about being fine about casually lying to complete her mission and growth felt good.

Basically in general I quite like the world building and the friendly NPCs introduced and I am looking forward to the follow up quests. But every... single... antagonist... suck. Their motivations being so cartoonishly simplistic (and also cartoonish) just deflated any sort of drama and tension these questlines remotely had.

Simplified but the vibes I got from playing through this:
"We want to spread CHAOS with poison 'cuz it will be funny haha hehe" - Healer
"I want to embarrass my former collogues as much as possible while on the way to the downfall of Ishgard" - Tank
"I want to prove that peoples true nature is that of cruelty" -Melee
"I want everyone to worship me.... so I will lie and steal and cheat my way there" - Magic
"I want to be the ruler so I have power even though I do not give a damn about anyone but me" -Physical Ranged

For me the antagonist of the Melee questline is the biggest offender for my hatred of the group of antagonists, 'cuz he is just as cartoonishly simple, but he is also within the quests an actual Murderer and the tone just does not fit....
