Hello! One of my biggest fears as a newer-ish FFXIV player who hasn't raided before this tier, is that I'd mess up mechanics over and over and over again and make everyone hate me. It's especially a concern that wracks me if some mechanic is mid-way, or late, in a long fight. Some of my friends have also mentioned that it can be hard to practice mechanics when you have to get through a whole 6 minute fight just to see them.
So, to be able to practice without being a scourge on PF, I've started a website to sim some of the mechanics from the most recent raids.
I don't have a ton of stuff built out right yet, but I wanted to share what little I do have now, in case it might help others with learning and progging like I am.
The guides / practice sims I have now:
Quick-explanation for how to use the site:
tl;dr: I've been programming a sim for the current raid tier, and I really hope it's not too buggy, works well, and helps some of you out!

I don't have a ton of stuff built out right yet, but I wanted to share what little I do have now, in case it might help others with learning and progging like I am.
The guides / practice sims I have now:
- M3S, Barbarous Barrage Knock-Back Towers
- M2S, Poison Sting or Alarm Pheromones 2, this one is more of a tutorial than a practice sim. (This is the only one that's actually a "Guide")
- M2S, Centerstage/Outerstage
Quick-explanation for how to use the site:
- Press the "Play" arrow at the bottom to start/pause the sim running.
- The "stopwatch" lets you slow things down, or speed them up
- It shows telegraphs of where AOEs will snapshot earlier than in-game, to help learn where things will be, you can use the "eye" to make telegraphing less, to see if you actually have a mechanic down.
- The "Pencil/Ruler" lets you move around the cast-bar, and "game ui", so you can make it more like what you're used to.
tl;dr: I've been programming a sim for the current raid tier, and I really hope it's not too buggy, works well, and helps some of you out!
