There’s one ARR quest—I’m not sure if it’s around L19 or L35–where the WoL is instructed to got to a shrine to Azeyma in Thanalan for divine guidance. When they get there, they pray, and...no response. They’re going to have to rely on themself.
Thing is that ShB establishes that the WoL’s first known incarnation in Amaurot was the basis for Azeyma and all her other variants. Small wonder there was no response—they were trying to pray to themself. (Or maybe the recognition of self-reliance is them answering their own prayer...)
Just something I thought took on more depth in light of the Azem reveal.
