Some New Ideas

I can just see freak reading this thread and throwing his monitor through a window or something :P

I'm down for it for sure but my money is on "people will get tired of it after a week"

i miss freak... we should start a movement to get him back in the shell...

I think only having one comment would be good for Northlands, doubly so if we start doing DL in the future.

I think this is a good suggestion. It would give everyone a better chance at northland AF.

As far as shadow items, once we start clearing Xarc to further seperate lotting comments so that there is less competition and better odds for everyone I think that commenting one AF or one shadow item would be fair. Just a suggestion though, we still have some time before our first attempt at a Xarc clear to discuss this.

If only one comment for AF2 in northlands then i would seriously consider going elsewhere.

My reasoning for this is so many shells offer 2 or more jobs to lot for. My only interest for Dynamis is Xarc AF2. People with Multiple jobs shouldn't be punished for leveling them. I don't mind doing city runs if it helps others out with Currency/AF2.

I've never seen any validity in this argument when these sorts of things are addressed.

You have an advantage over those with fewer jobs regardless, because you can choose to lot much more gear. With that said: No, you shouldn't be able to cast a sweeping net on all the gear in Northlands every run when there are people who want certain pieces much much more. With comment-1 in Northlands, I guarantee that there won't be any increase in gear dropping below full wearable for lotting tier. The gear will still be going to our members, just not as often to those who drop it off in their safe never to be seen again.

The whole reason I suggested changing to lot 1 was so that we would eliminate the whole "what the hell I'll lot it, XXX probably won't drop tonight anyway" approach that a lot of people seem to have, which in all honesty is an unfair advantage to those with multiple jobs, and amplified in the Northlands.

I'm not criticizing you in particular, Def. And I certainly wouldn't blame you for choosing to go to a shell that gave you an advantage in lotting over other members.
