In a scenario similar to the previous Ungarmax exploit, someone decided to publicize that it was possible to smuggle the 95% damage reduction from the Draconian Light buff provided during the last boss of the Aery out of the instance using a very specific setup that's extremely unlikely happen by accident.
Once done, the buff was basically stuck on the player and would persist even upon log out, meaning they basically had a nigh-permanent god mode activated that would let them survive almost anything short of instakills or mitigation-ignoring effects. This was some magnitudes more broken then Ungarmax since while that boosted your DPS hugely, you still had to be able to actually do a lot of mechanics properly whereas this exploit removed much of the mechanical complexity from the harder fights.
Naturally, some people didn't have much foresight and started to trying to abuse it basically everywhere, whether it be PvP, raids, or PotD/HoH, so here's hoping they all get banned or at least get their characters rolled back to deny them any rewards they may have earned with said exploit.
I just pray that SE had the sense to look into instance/quest-specific buffs/debuffs in general to prevent this from happening yet again as we've already had other silliness like people using MSQ-specific debuffing items or PotD pomanders in raids.
Would be also be nice if they took all forms of cheating this seriously instead of only the stuff that's easily traceable or possible through in-game means, but that's another story.
