I can get started in Firmament as a blacksmith easily, all ingredients for the job are found in Diadem.
Carpenter, however, is way more myriad. The first Firmament collectable product I can give as a carpenter to restoration personnel requires grade 2 skybuilders yew logs. They can't be found in Diadem, it seems. I am a lvl55 botanist with gear close to my own level, and I have ran Diadem all over for two weeks.
I read from an archived post here in Reddit that this log could be found in East Shroud Honey Yard from lvl5 trees. Is this true? Because I can only find lvl20 trees there every time I visit the place. I can't find the grade 2 skybuilders yew log from my gathering log (Ishgrad restoration tab) either.
Also, it isn't found from market board. This log easily goes to my "rarest items in FFXIV" list
