So with the relics for this expansion coming soon, what is it that everyone is hoping to see from them, both in terms of the weapons themselves and how you get them?

For me, there are a few things I'm really hoping were learned from the Eureka series:
- More variety of activities to build the weapon. While I didn't mind Eureka as a whole, I did feel that it was doing the same thing constantly. I really felt burned out in multiple places through it (all of Pyros and most of Hydatos). I'm alright with some of that style of play, but I'm hoping there will be more than "farm crystals, then farm light, then repeat it 4 times" essentially.
- To further build on the first point, this is more of a pipe dream, but I hope that part of its construction is some kind of difficult solo activity. This may be a bit of a stretch, but I was always a fan of the Maat battles from FFXI or the Rhok'delar quest from WoW. While these don't need to be that hard, I'd love to see a step that serves as some kind of high difficulty test of a job's performance.
- A little less rng on the weapons. The most frustrating part of Eureka for me was when we were in the position of having to reroll the weapons constantly for a decent set of substats. I love the idea of customizing the weapon and that further effort going into it can push the weapon's limits, but it's gotta be more than a dice roll.
- Aesthetically, and this is a bit of a blunt point, but I hope we get some cleaner effects on this round of relics. The Eureka weapons did not have great visuals, imo. They were okay-ish in places, but generally fell short to me.
Anyway, now's the time to talk and wishlist, so go for it.
