So, for as long as I can recall shadows on certain objects honestly look like crap. For example shadows from most tree leaves are incredibly blocky, like they are using an uber low shadow resolution despite having all settings maxed out. I have discovered, however, that if you enable "Use low-detail models on distant objects. (LOD)" the shadows suddenly look like they are supposed to at max settings, they look amazing. The downside is objects in the distance now look like crap. It's almost like the LOD option is backwards. I know this has been an issue since at least Heavensward and yet the problem still exists.
I know I'm not the only one who has this issue, my wife, brother and numerous members of my free company have all confirmed having this problem. Can we get some kind of acknowledgment of the issue? I know it's a minor problem but can we get a fix for this? It's very noticeable and very distracting. The graphics in this game are good looking but when you have shadows that look like they belong in minecraft it really takes away from the overall experience.
