I was really enjoying the Bozjan Southern Front when initially introduced, but am now hitting a brick wall.
Now that I am rank 15 and I have all of my non-relic/armor related toys, the only motivation that remains for being in Bozja is to run Castrum for coins to augment armor, to attempt the solo duels, or to farm clusters.
I personally prefer other methods of farming cash, so I don't feel the need to farm clusters. That leaves me castrum, which only pops once an hour and can require me to waste great lengths of time just to get in, and the solo duels, which I frequently qualify for and am prepared to engage with, but I never have won the roulette to be accepted.
This means I spend literally hours in Castrum feeling frustrated and agitated and never getting a challenge or a payoff for the time investment, and what further exacerbates it is that the priority system doesn't even give me priority access to the duels, so literally the only CE's I would use it for, it doesn't seem to apply to.
I will watch as someone wholly unprepared gets picked, gets in, and dies within 10 seconds of the fight popping, and now it's a solid 40 minutes or more before I even get another chance at qualifying. It's maddening, and what's worse, it feels to me like something that was easily anticipatable and which is easy to address.
Which brings me to my suggestion: Implement a queue for the duels. Allow the randomization to still occur to create a line, of sorts, and the first person picked gets the first crack at it. If they die, reset the fight and person #2 in line gets to try. That way at least the people with no preparation and no chance of victory aren't locking other people out of the fight for hours at a time, and those of us with terrible RNG luck still get a crack at the fight occasionally.
I understand the fun and excitement of the "one on one duel" idea and in principal it's neat. In reality, there is a group of usually 20 or more people in a given instance (especially for the gabriel fight) who are VERY ready to do the encounter, but don't get the chance. It sucks being excluded from content you desparately want to try to do solely because of a random number generator, especially since the fight may require multiple attempts to learn before beating. Adding a queue system will at least allow people that need multiple tries an opportunity to get those tries without feeling like they're holding back others by doing so and without the people ready to kill the boss feeling like they're being denied opportunities for no good reason.
We also need more to do in the Bozjan zones moving forward once we're max rank. The solo duels aside, the reality is that the relic weapons are easier to earn outside Bozja than inside, which makes 95% of my time inside the warfront feel wasted. We need more cool toys, more unique mounts, emotes, something that makes the time spent inside worthwhile.
