I’ve returned to the game after a long break and I’ve decided to get “back” into tanking.
I only have a PAL at 60, WAR at 1, DRK at ~50, and GNB at 61. I’m trying to figure out which one I want to go with. I honestly will probably never play to the extent that 1-200 dps will ever matter to me.
I’m curious about the feels of the different tanks and why you chose yours. I’ve watched a couple rotation videos and I’m a bit weird. I loved PAL until I noticed a triple riot blade(?) spam then a spam of the Magic ability in their 80 rotation. It didn’t seem to flow but maybe it feels better in person?
What’s fun? What’s effective? Why did your tank click with you?
Also I noticed that tanks pick up 2 groups at a time in dungeons as the standard. Am I able to do that if I’m the level just eligible for a dungeons (like -1 from sync) or am I going to get floored?
