The changes to Sch were ok, needed changes but the changes were *too* small. The amount of damage output and burst is so high a sch can't even keep up with the damage unlike the other two healing jobs. The sch still needs to be *offensive* to get his most important skill to work "Summon Seraph" but unlike his counterpart the white mage, can pretty much keep their team up with a mix of Cure 2&Afflatus solace spam while able to burst someone up from the bleak of death, but while as a SCH, i struggle even to get their health back up or myself for that matter. A white mage and AST both they have a powerful cool down skill on DEMAND to use to burst heal while a sch has none unless they dps for it, leaving them at a disadvantage at the start of any match.
1. Adloquium heals for too low thus makes the shield too weak to protect the person, bump up the cure potency to 2,500 and increase the mana cost at least, punish the sch for using it too much allowing them the choice of it or Physick. This will allow the SCH to get *time* on dps if you gonna make them dps to get their gauge up. YES I know the skill is equal to a cure 2, 2000 potency heal + 2000 shield = 4000 potency but the problem is the amount send out = the amount time needed to dps.
2. Summon seraph needs to be changed BIG TIME,. It needs to be available from the START of the match. Its isn't fair that this healer out of the 3 needs to be *working* on gaining *half* their gauge to use one of their burst cooldowns unlike White mage Temperance or AST. This leaves the healer at a disadvantage at the start of the match or fight wither it be frontlines or the feast.
3. BUFF the seraphs HEAL! IF you gonna make me "DPS" for my ***ulitmate*** skill, at least make it where it heals more than my adloquium. 2000 potency heal is too little on the amount of work for the payoff, this goes back to my first problem (The heal is too little for the little amount of time for me to dps to even *GET* my gauge for the amount of damage output being put out in pvp.
4. Buff Excogitation to have a shorter cooldown, 35 seconds is too long for a 3000 potency heal, while a white mage Afflatus solace can have 3 charges, have the same amount of potency, shorter cooldown (10 seconds for per lily) AND gives them a regen.
5. BUFF FOCALIZATION, I can not stress that enough. Both white mage and sch have the same increase 20% healing skill, same timer BUT big difference in the two is that white mages also have a 10% reduce damage TO THE WHOLE PARTY! while the SCH only increases healing by 20%. Now, I know what you are thinking "But Pinkie, your seraph also creates a shield on a target it heals hur hur huurr." PROBLEM! it requires me(again) to gain gauge for me to use it, I don't have it at the start of the match and it doesn't heal the whole party with a powerful heal, only *one* target it *thinks* needs a heal unlike wings which instantly gave the group 10% reduce damage.
The Feast coming soon and once again, like you saw last season and the season before that of seeing nothing but AST, now you will see White mages and (maybe) AST but no SCH cause as soon you see a SCH on the other team, its a instant win. nobody will play SCH competitively with how it is now. Please, what are your guys thoughts on SCH, what changes need to happen cause lord knows I've given up on SCH at this point.
