I don't usually watch anmie nor do I really read manga... but my wife got me turned on to this book that I actually enjoyed reading.

This Manga is about Jesus and Buddha sharing an apartment in Tachikawa, Japan... both speak fluent Japanese and go on about their adventures on their secret mortal vacation.
I don't know if there are any English versions available, but I would think there would be somewhere. This is a very popular manga here in Japan.
If you are religious type of person, you may not enjoy this. Just depends how strong your views are on this matter. I'm really not religious at all, so it was a blast for me to read.
