I do miss the old days where S Ranks were more of a challenge to kill. That was what I found most fun about those.
So, brainstorming with a friend, they mentioned probably Adding a few sub-monsters that need to be killed first in order to remove an "impervious to damage" shield.
To add to that idea, maybe the S-Ranks would have to apply the shield when hit, so no more damage would occur, and then the S-Ranks would summon it's 'minions' to help fight us players. Even worse for us players! You can even have the shield pop at certain percentages of the S-Rank's health bar!
Like a Trial Boss!!
A Trial Boss that is Loose in the Wild!!
That would be a fun challenge to fight and to stay alive (I do miss those times were we all died pretty hardcore when so many of us got together and truly struggled).
Would also be fun if added for ALL S-Ranks, starting from lv50 as a test run too if appliable...
