While I was expecting load times to improve playing on PS5, I had no idea that performance would be impacted as well, and I have to say the FPS boost to 60 is quite an adjustment for someone who has only played on PS4 and PS4 Pro since 2013.
The game is just so dang smooth. It is almost hard to get used to right now because as I run and move it feels like I am gliding in silky smoothness. Also, the load times are legit awesome. The fact I can load into Limsa in less than 5 seconds with legit almost no delayed character pop in is impressive.
This really gets me excited for what a full-on PS5 upgrade could bring to the game and possibly PC if they decide to do a texture re-work.
Anyway, this lowly console player is happy to join the higher FPS club now.
