Hello, I’ve seen a bunch of people expressing frustration wrt the final Skytool upgrade. While they aren’t quite at the level of Expert Recipes, you can use the same strategies.
With that in mind here are my suggestions:
As for hasty touch it has some use when the following conditions are met:
Your finisher should look like this:
You need 74 cp to use byregot/great strides/innovation, and you want another 7 cp to finish the craft with careful synth for a total of 81 minimum cp. Give yourself a few extra to try and fish for a good with observe at 7 cp.
I hope this helps, good luck!

With that in mind here are my suggestions:
- use reflect rather than muscle memory for your opener
- if you don’t get a pliant by the time you hit 20 durability left, use manipulation unbuffed
- try to always have innovation up, even two uses makes it worth the cp
- keep a mental track of where you are in cp. if you’ve had to use masters mend or manip unbuffed make sure to use trick at least twice per unbuffed use
- waste not ii is still a mistake — every non progress or quality move you use is a waste of cp
- use normal quality to re-up innovation if you need it, otherwise use prudent touch as much as possible
- use sturdy or centred for your progress, and I try and use rapid synth until I’m at a point where careful synth is enough to finish
As for hasty touch it has some use when the following conditions are met:
- you no longer need to advance progress
- you’re at 55/55 durability with manip up and sturdy
- you’re getting close to entering the “finisher” stage and you have “extra” durability
Your finisher should look like this:
- ideally 15/55 durability
- innovation and great strides up
- good quality
You need 74 cp to use byregot/great strides/innovation, and you want another 7 cp to finish the craft with careful synth for a total of 81 minimum cp. Give yourself a few extra to try and fish for a good with observe at 7 cp.
