QoL Suggestion: Improve capped crafting crystal handling

A number of game actions which would result in adding crafting crystals to your inventory fail with an error if it would give you more of that type of crystal than you can carry.


This quickly becomes extremely annoying - there's no option to simply discard the excess you would have picked up, and you cannot discard crystals from your inventory without discarding all 9,999 of them.


The only methods I can find for using up a handful of crystals are crafting until you've used up enough crystals (unrealistic in many situations), or having a retainer post the number you need to get rid of on the market board.


It would be useful if we could just have excess crystals/shards/clusters automatically discard on pickup (which is how desynthesis and aetherial reduction handle this problem already). Barring that, or in addition, it would be useful when trying to discard a crafting crystal if we had the option to select a number to discard, rather than it being an all-or-nothing situation.
