My suggestion is about Endgame Gear and Data Center
To me gear set is my top option
Gear set have benefit for DPS/Healing/defensive or improve your class skill(for example Total Eclipse could deal more damage).
Gear set for PVP: If it buff your Damage you get less critical chance, If it buff your Healing ability it will decrease your chance to restore your MP, If it buff your defensive you get less Damage deal or decrease some of your HP. The concept is, you have advantage but you also have disadvantage.
Why the gear set? so people can deeply explore the game mechanic, and Final Fantasy 14 content Creator have more video can make. can also set the dungeon difficulty higher.
The PVP population in match system:
the main reason of low population in PVP could be the matching time in game. Take North America Data Center for example, If you want to main focus on PVE Primal and Aether is your best option if you want to play PVP Crystal is the one for you. but all this information you are only able to know if you do some research about it. take me for example I leveled my paladin to about level 73 and then someone told me Crystal have more PVP population then anther Data Center. well...physically I could just level up a new character in that Data Center but in mentally it feel tired and I don’t really have extra money to use data center transfer and I really like PVP so…I need to do that. because the time when I can play it no one play to playing PVP. So I suggest Square Enix could name a sever it say focus on PVP or even for Roleplay so New-player could join that server if he/she want to play PVP. since it's a PVP focus server we can get more XP, Gil or craft item and Allagan Tomestones for play PVP. if Square Enix did make a PVP focus server let every player could transfer to that data center or server for free.
