Puppeteer
Role: Tank
Overview: Instead of a pet job where the puppet is autonomous, it would be controlled by the character with strings (like an actual puppeteer). Active skills would be attacks made by the puppet as well as buffs that benefit both it and the user. Puppet's can only be healed by the user (for example, a skill that sacrifices 30% of your max HP to heal it for 30% of its max HP) and any damage taken would be split between them.
Job Gauge: The icon would be a marionette. Depending on the skills used, a different part of the marionette would glow for a few seconds (head, body, arms, and legs) which will allow you to use additional skills.
- Head: Single target attack that leaves a poison DOT
- Body: Damage reduction buff for both the puppet and user
- Arms: Grab attack that generates enmity
- Legs: AOE (Fan area) sweeping attacks (2 charges)
Weapon: Puppet cross (main hand) and Strings (off hand)
Green Mage
Role: Healer
Overview: Main skills would be a variant of reflect, protect, shell, and one with both types of damage reduction, but they would all have HP regeneration. Other skills I thought of would be bubble, reverse, and probably float/floatga (to avoid certain ground attacks maybe?).
Job Gauge: Haven't thought of an icon for it, but the mechanic would be that they would have access to certain damaging spells depending on the number of unique buffs they have on themselves or party members. More buffs = stronger damage.
Weapon: Hammer
Other classes: Corsair (tweaked from FFXI to fit) and Juggler (wields throwing knives, so ranged DPS, and focuses on DOTs and debuffs)
