Reshade currently exists for FFXIV with 3rd party solutions however, if you aren't too inclined to play with 3rd party programs but have an Nvidia card then you can at least get an lite, easy version of Reshade through Geforce Experience which works with more than FFXIV.

It also includes image sharpening and low latency mode (if you have any interest in those).
The Reshade is extremely easy to use, toy with, and turn on/off to see how it impacts your visuals. It's pretty easy to at least alter your visuals so you get better color and less of a washed out look the game has by default.
